We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it. Analytics runs by default; if you decline in the cookie banner (or switch it off below), Google Analytics drops to a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device and receives only anonymous, aggregate signals. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies in any mode.
