Accessibility statement

Last updated June 2026.

Quarterwise is committed to making our software usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

What we have done

  • The page language is set, and pages have a clear heading structure.
  • Every form field has an associated label, and field hints are linked to their field.
  • Icon-only buttons have text alternatives; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Keyboard focus is always visible, and you can operate the whole app — including the ledger, file and year-end flows — with a keyboard.
  • Success and error messages are announced to screen readers as they appear, so you do not need to hunt for them.
  • Status is never conveyed by colour alone; we check text colour contrast against our backgrounds.
  • We respect your operating-system setting for reduced motion.
  • A skip-to-content link lets keyboard users bypass the navigation.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-off task. We continue to test with automated tools and with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), and we fix issues as we find them. If any part of the service does not yet fully meet AA, we treat that as a defect to put right.

Reporting a problem

If you find anything difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us via our contact page and we will respond as quickly as we can. Your feedback helps us improve.
